Assist clients in identifying personal goals, developing leadership skills and planning career moves. Provide feedback on resumes or cover letters and strategizing for a successful job interview. Provide workshops, network, promote and facilitate career opportunities within the community.
I have worked with individuals that are unemployed as well as individuals with physical disabilities and those looking to change or upgrade careers.
Extensive work with the following groups:
Individual and family services: working with families and individuals undergoing a transitional period and assisting them in referring to appropriate resources during geographic relocation.
Vocational services: provide guidance in career change, motivating and mentoring clients in need of career based coaching and resource navigation.
Private agencies: providing guidance and problem solving methods via workshops for small to large companies.
Medical Assisting Programs (nursing and administration): currently on the board at Carrington College and Mission Language and Vocational College providing workshops, mentoring and career life coaching in a group setting or individually.
